Golonka — the national dish of Poland — refers to stewed pork knuckle or hock that is cooked with the bone and literally melts in your mouth when you take a bite. While not the best food for the waistline, it’s a favorite in terms of flavor. It is especially delicious served in beer and honey sauce.
