Here at Epicure & Culture, we’re obsessed with responsible tourism. Along with launching a Responsible Tourism Twitter Chat (#RTTC) this summer, we’re putting together a responsible tourism travel guide — set to launch mid-summer 2014 — to help our readers travel in a more sustainable and ethical fashion. Along with having informative articles on responsible travel, the guide will include tour operators and hotels that employ locals, source food locally, operate under Fair Trade, give back to the community and educate guests on responsible tourism. The guide will be curated by Epicure & Culture staff in order to fact check each company as thoroughly as possible in order to provide readers with as accurate of information as possible.

If you’re a tour operator or hotel/lodge and think you would be a fit for the guide, please click here to fill out the application. And if you know of any tour companies or hotels/lodges that might be a fit, please forward them this post or shoot us an email at editorial (at) epicureandculture (dot) com with your recommendation.
