Whether itās a chilled white or a powerful red, Aussies love wine. On the back of world renowned vineyards in the Hunter Valley, Margaret River, McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley, itās only natural that sitting back and enjoying a beautiful glass of red or white has become an Australian institution as famous as throwing prawns on the barbie, cheering on the Melbourne Cup or swimming at Bondi Beach. In fact, with wine produced in every state across 60 designated wine regions, Aussies consume an average of 530 million liters (138 million gallons) of those gorgeous grapes every year. This month Australia is raising a glass to wine, creating the ultimate food and beverage experience at the same time.
